The New York State Energy Research and Development Authority (NYSERDA) has unveiled the Commercial Tenant Program which provides office tenants and property owners in New York State at any stage of leasing a free basic energy analysis. Bergmann energy experts want to help tenants and property owners take advantage of this program designed to provide actionable insights, identify savings opportunities and introduce organizations to technology which can promote a more comfortable workplace while improving employee health and safety. There are two potential tracks that the program offers participants.

Receive a FREE energy analysis, conducted by highly-qualified Bergmann professionals, to gain an overview of your current energy usage. This assessment will identify ways you can make your office more comfortable for your employees, potentially improving health and productivity. From this analysis, valued at $5,000, you can learn ways to save money on your energy bills. Your Bergmann team will:

• Identify operational improvements
• Provide advice on potential capital improvements
• Calculate implementation cost and savings
• Provide a summary report

Your Bergmann team will take your energy assessment to the next level! You will receive a comprehensive energy efficiency analysis, tailored specifically to the particular needs of a property or tenant. In the high performance track, tenants and property owners get deep insights into current energy usage and see a full breakdown of cost impacts, energy savings over the length of a lease and other information.

The financial benefits in this track are significant. Participants can receive between $25,000 and $50,000 depending on the energy saving opportunities and the steps taken to address them.
